Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (September 15, 2017) – The Salt Lake Community College Bruin women's soccer program had a dominant weekend to start SWAC play, sweeping through Colorado Northwestern with ease last weekend.
Fortunately for the Bruins, the start of the second weekend proved to be another opportunity to showcase success, with Salt Lake moving to 3-0 in league play after a 4-0 shutout out over USU-Eastern in Price. The win gives SLCC a goal differential of 41-0 through three conference matches.
Salt Lake scored in the fourth minute of play, finding the back of the net on a
Maida Alijagic goal. From there, it was a match of control, with
Sydney Hathaway's two goals clinching the match for the Bruins. SLCC held a 9-1 advantage in shots-on-goal over the Golden Eagles.
Meghan Walker also had a goal for Salt Lake, scoring in the 52
nd minute.
The two programs will matchup on Saturday, with a scheduled start time of 1:00 p.m. in Price.
