Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (September 1, 2017) – The Salt Lake Community College soccer programs had a mixed performance in southeast Wyoming, with the Bruin men and women splitting a pair of matches against Laramie County Community College.

The Bruin men's program earned a 3-1 win over LCCC, as the Bruins scored all three goals in the first half against the Golden Eagles. The Bruin women's program fell in a 2-1 to Laramie County.

Salt Lake will play a set of matches on Saturday in Laramie, as the Bruin men have a 1:00 p.m. game against Iowa Western. Then the Bruin women play the Golden Eagles at 2:30 p.m.

SLCC Men 3, LCCC 1 – The Bruins powered to a strong road win over the Golden Eagles, moving their season record to 2-1.

Three Bruins scored goals, as Drake Cox, Jalen Wood and
Raul Sanchez all found the back of the net for Salt Lake. SLCC dominated the game offensively, holding a 19-12 advantage in shots-on-goal.

Additionally, Bruins keeper
Tyler Dean made three saves, helping keep the Golden Eagles scoreless in the second half. The program is on a two-match winning streak.

LCCC 2, SLCC 1- A low-scoring affair saw the Bruins suffer their first loss of the season, losing in a road match to the Golden Eagles.
