Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (October 7, 2017)Â - One Scenic West road trip is in the books for Salt Lake Community College's Bruins volleyball program, and a sweep of their opponents will go down in the books along with the completion check.
The Bruins earned a 3-1 win over Colorado Northwestern Saturday, picking up a sweep of a two-match road trip with the win over the Spartans. Salt Lake powered to a 25-17, 23-25, 25-19, 25-19 win over CNCC, moving to 17-4 on the season and now 4-1 in the SWAC.
The match was significant for the Bruins for several reasons, with one being an impressive milestone for head coach
Sue Dulaney. After a decade of leading the Bruins, along with a storied career at Western Wyoming, Dulaney earned her 500th victory in the win over Colorado Northwestern Saturday. Dulaney's accomplishments are numerous in Taylorsville, including several national tourney runs and numerous postseason titles.
Salt Lake will once again head out on the road for matches against College of Southern Nevada and Snow College, taking place next weekend. The match against College of Southern Nevada will take place Thursday, while the match with in-state rival Snow College will be played Saturday.Â
