Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (October 6, 2017) – A Friday in Price, Utah isn't one of the more entertaining prospects in Scenic West volleyball, facing off against the nationally-recognized USU-Eastern Golden Eagles.

However, the Salt Lake Community College Bruins made the most of the first night of a SWAC road trip, earning a 3-1 win over USU-Eastern (25-12, 25-19, 25-27, 25-20). The win helped boost SLCC's record to 16-4 and 3-1 in Scenic West action.

The Bruins owned the match by dominating offensively, holding a 56-44 advantage in kills. Salt Lake also held a .223-.072 advantage in hitting percentage, limiting USU-Eastern at the net by picking up ten blocks. The win is the first win for a visiting team in Price this season.

Megan Treanor led the Bruins in kills, finishing with 14, while
Lia Finau and
Jensyn Turner finished with 11 kills. Treanor also led with 21 assists.
To'a Faleao, the reiging SWAC Offensive Player of the Week, finished with 9 kills.
