Andrea Brady was named to the NJCAA All-American First Team with her exceptional play on both sides of the net for the Bruins this year as well as being a key piece in her team's success. Andrea was ranked nationally in total blocks (3
rd nationally) with 171, blocks per set (5
th nationally) averaging 1.45 blocks per set, and hitting percentage with .348 (14
th nationally). Andrea also had 271 kills through the regular season averaging 2.32 kills per set. Adding to her defensive presence at the net, she also had 42 digs and nine serving aces to her regular season resume.
In conference play, Andrea was ranked first in Region 18 in hitting percentage (.352), blocks per set (1.38), and blocks (44). She was named to the first team Region 18 team and earned the Region 18 tournament Most Valuable Player award, when her team defeated the defending national champions on their home floor. Andrea lead the Bruins in the pivotal conference championship game with 12 blocks and 14 kills in four sets both of which were team highs.
She maintained her hard work ethic deep into the post season and national tournament with efficient play. Andrea had 59 kills throughout her post season averaging 2.8 kills per set and 34 blocks, averaging 1.61 blocks per set on defense.
