Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah- SLCC came away with a win against USU-E 3-0 (25-10,25-14,25-15) on autograph night for the Bruins. With the win, Salt Lake surpasses USU-E for third place in the SWAC conference standings with a 2-2 conference record and 15-7 overall. SLCC briefly opened up slow trailing 1-3 in the first set but immediately turned up their play off of a series of good plays by
Andrea Brady and
To'a Faleao. Salt Lake didn't look back the entire match, dominating the net with eight blocks while the eagles only contributed one and viciously attacking the net with 46 kills in comparison to USU-E's 26. The Bruins ended the match with five consecutive points coming from kills by
Jade Timothy,
To'a Faleao, and
Olivia Osborn.
To'a lead the attack for the Bruins with 14 kills on a impressive .615 hitting percentage while accounting for 15.5 of SLCC's points.
Alyssa Walker lead the way in the saving and distributing department for Salt Lake with 11 digs and 32 assists. Both of which are team highs.

Salt Lake hosts Colorado Northwestern at 1:00 p.m. Saturday October 8th. CNCC is still searching for thier first conference win after their loss to CSI on the road Friday so the Bruins are expecting a determined Spartan team.
