Box Score TAYLORSVILLE, Utah- The Bruins ended their regular season on a high note after defeating USU-Eastern on the road 3-0 (25-21,25-17,27-25). The win puts SLCC at 22-7 overall and 8-2 in conference. Salt Lake will enter the Scenic West Athletic Conference Tournament as a 2 seed and will face the winner of Snow College and CNCC. After Starting off Conference play 0-2 the Bruins kicked it in gear and finished the season on an eight game win streak.

The Bruins jumped out to an early lead in the first set thanks to
To'a Faleao. Faleao had four kills of Salt Lake's first seven points and helped extend the lead 7-1. SLCC held a minimum of a two point lead the entire first set and finished it through on
Jade Timothy and
Olivia Osborn Block, taking the set 25-21.

Faleao continued her dominance at the net in the second set with three kills early to put the Bruins ahead 7-3. The Eagles battled back and tied the set up at 10 each and put the pressure on SLCC to play better. That play came just four points later when
To'a Faleao sparked a 5-1 run extending the Bruin lead 18-13.
Jade Timothy finished out the set with back to back kills securing the second set win 25-17.

USU-Eastern came out firing on all cylinders trying to extend the match in the third set where the lead changed 18 times. The Bruins had great help coming off the bench with
Tiffany Robbins and
Laken Te'o to not let the Eagles get out in front and
Aubrie Steiner silenced the crowd late in the set after what appeared to be USU-E gaining momentum. Naturally the Bruins leader in kills for the match finished off the game with her final kill sealing the match victory 27-25.

To'a Faleao had the team high for kills with 15 on a .359 hitting percentage. Faleao also eight digs and three blocks while being responsible for 16.5 of the Bruins points.
Jade Timothy had a great day at the net with 11 kills and.321 hitting with six digs and three blocks.
Alyssa Walker had 29 assists and three kills while
Thamyres Fuchs lead the team in digs with 19.
Thayna Fuchs and
Ellie Cottam also brought the defensive noise combining for 23 digs between each other.
Salt Lake will be making their conference tournament appearance Friday November 4
th at 4:00 p.m. in Twin Falls, Idaho.
