Box Score SLCC Volleyball Standout Carol Grasso Named Region 18 Player of the Year

SLCC Head Coach Sue Dulaney earns Region 18 Coach-of-the-Year Honors

SALT LAKE CITY, UT—Region 18 Volleyball announced its 2013 All-Region award winners on Friday. SLCC freshman outside hitter Carol Grasso (Sao Paulo, Brazil) was named Region 18 Player-of-the-Year and earned First Team All-Region 18 honors as well.

Grasso led the Bruins and the Scenic West Athletic Conference (SWAC) in total kills with 414 through the regular season. She also led the conference in service aces with 48 and finished second on the team in digs with 336 in Salt Lake's 28 matches.

Bruin Head Coach Sue Dulaney was named Region 18 Coach-of-the-Year and four more SLCC players received All-Region 18 honors as well. The All-Region 18 awards are as follows:
