No. 5 SLCC Volleyball takes down No. 20 Snow College in straight sets road win

Bruins win third straight, take down in-state rival and top 20 team

Ephraim, UT—The No. 5-ranked Salt Lake Community College Women's Volleyball team (19-4, 4-1 SWAC) took down Scenic West Athletic Conference (SWAC) and in-state rival No. 20 Snow College (12-6, 2-3 SWAC) in straight sets on Friday night. The Bruins snagged the sweep victory with scores of 25-22, 25-22 and 25-20 en route to the team's third straight win.

SLCC sophomore outside hitter Maddie Bushman (Tucson, AZ) had 17 kills and 10 digs, and freshman libero Jacyln Condie (Cottonwood Heights, UT) kept the ball off the hardwood with 17 digs. Bruin sophomore setter Cortney Godfrey (West Jordan, UT) had 22 assists.

Next up for the Bruins is a home match against fierce rival No. 3-ranked College of Southern Idaho (CSI) (19-1, 4-0 SWAC) on Friday, Oct. 12 at 7 p.m. at Bruin Arena. The Bruins fell to CSI earlier this season in a five-set battle.
