The SLCC Volleyball team defeated Southern Idaho in a five set thriller to advance to the Region 18 Championship game. Salt Lake held Southern Idaho to a .175 hitting percentage in the match while serving nine aces.

Four Bruins finished with double digit kills led by Kellie Turner and Ame Whites double doubles. Turner had 16 kills with 15 digs and White dug 20 balls and killed 14. Sheila Uulave added 12 kills and Erika Charry finished with 14 kills. Setter Catalina Charry had a match high 53 set assists.

Salt Lake looks to take the Region 18 crown as they face off against the winner between Snow and North Idaho. Championship match is set for 2 pm mountain time.
