SLCC Volleyball Defends the Den taking Snow out in Three

SALT LAKE CITY (October 21, 2010) – The SLCC Bruin Volleyball defended their home court with a decisive 3-0 win over Snow College. The Bruins held Snow to a .087 hitting percentage while they hit .319 for the match. Salt Lake is now 23-5 overall and 4-4 in conference play.

It was a team win for the College with Kellie Turner finishing with 10 kills, Erika Charry with 9 kills and Ame White had 7. The Bruins controlled the match with 10 service aces while holding Snow to no aces in the three sets.   Defensively, the Bruins combined for 7.5 team blocks and 42 digs.

Volleyball (23-5, 4-4) returns to the hardwood on October 29th and 30th in their final home matches of the season. The Bruins look for revenge against North Idaho on the 29th and Southern Idaho the following night.
