SLCC Softball Honored Nationally
SALT LAKE CITY (June 2, 2010) – The National Fast pitch Coaches Association (NFCA) has announced that the Salt Lake Community College Softball coaching staff has been named the NFCA West Region Coaching Staff of the Year. Head Coach MaryKay Amicone and Assistant Coach Kate Nygaard completed their season with a 61-5 record, winning the SWAC and Region 18 titles along with a 5th place finish at Nationals.
The NJCAA released the 2010 NJCAA All Americans with four Bruins being selected as All Americans. Sophomore's

Cyd Allen and
Erika James were all named 1
st team All Americans while sophomore
Stacie Graham was named 2
nd team All American.
