SALT LAKE CITY (May 2, 2010) – The Salt Lake Community College Baseball team took two wins from Western Nevada today at Cate field 3-2 & 5-1.
Game one went nine innings before Salt Lake scored to take the 3-2 win.
JR Roland drove in two runs and
Josh Mooney was 2-4 with a double.
Tyson Memmott went six innings allowing three hits and
Adam Wilson got the win going one inning not allowing a hit.
In the series final,
James Mahler threw 3.1 innings striking out seven batters and Wilson made his second apperance striking out four in 3.2 innings. Zack Swasey was 2-3 with two RBIs and
Mitch Manning was 2-3 with a double and a triple.
The Bruins will host College of Southern Nevada on May 7th at 3pm.
