TAYLORSVILLE, Utah- SLCC heads into the NJCAA national tournament next week to compete for the national championship. Hot off a ten game winning tear after defeating the defending National champions College of Southern Idaho on their home court, Salt Lake looks to continue their streak.
The Bruins are seeded fifth in the tournament and will face No. 12 Wallace State (38-2) November 17th at 3 p.m. in their first match-up. SLCC has yet to go up against the Lions this season and are looking forward to face the team from Alabama. Wallace State went 14-0 in conference and their two losses came on the road. WSCC ended their season with an eight consecutive Alabama Community College Conference championship this year. The Bruins ended the season ranked No. 7 in the nation and the Lions had received votes.
The Tournament will be held in Casper, Wyoming and will be played on November 17
th through the 19
