SLCC Men's Basketball signs California prep standout De'Sean Parsons
Bruins add Delta League Most Valuable Player
Salt Lake City, UT—The SLCC Men's Basketball team signed California prep standout
De'Sean Parsons (Sacramento, CA) on Wednesday.
Parsons, a 6-foot-6-inch tall forward, was named Delta League Most Valuable Player in his senior season at Grant Union High School in Sacramento, CA.
A Division II First Team All-State player,
Parsons averaged 18.1 points and eight rebounds per contest for the Grant Pacers in his senior year and was selected as the Delta Valley All-Metro Player-of-the-Year.
Parsons helped lead the Pacers to a 23-9 overall record and an 8-2 mark in league play. He was named the Division II Metro Player-of-the-Year and helped his team to a Delta Valley Conference Championship last season.
