Salt Lake Community College (SLCC) Men's Basketball Head Coach Todd Phillips announced the signing of former University of Michigan player Sai Tummala (Two-MAH-la). Tummala, a 6-foot-6, 215 lb. power forward, spent his redshirt year as a freshman with the Wolverines.

“Sai is a high-character guy and we're really excited that he's a Bruin,” said Phillips. “He's athletic, has a long reach, is a smart guy and he's another huge addition for us.”

Tummala played his high school basketball at Brophy College Prepatory in Phoenix, AZ. As a senior, he averaged 17.7 points, 8.1 rebounds and 2.2 blocks per game en route to becoming an Academic All-State player in 2011. Tummala led Brophy Prep to a 21-8 record and the Arizona 5A State Runner-Up spot as a senior.
